“25min wait on a Monday night”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

Arriving after a long day at work we just wanted to have a quick dinner - our order took more than 25 min to arrive, which is too long for a couple if simple sushis.

The owner offered free fish skewers which was a nice touch - but we were still hungry!

Food overall was good - but not worth the wait!

“Average Sushi”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

So I went today with an ex collage from an investment bank.

It was a business lunch and we both love sushi, hoping we would be inpressed.

His sushi was average. I had spicy tuna california maki roles and were nice.

The hot plate of beet crustiant was strangely sour, and should be like soya sauce with Teriaki sweet. I was worried it was old beef/meet. And im tonight not feeling great.

The location is good, service was good, the japanese deco was good.
However the service was all chinese for a Japanese sushi restaruant, strange.

I will not go back, there are better sushi restarants in Geneva for 30% less cost, like Miyako or Ekai or Wasabi.

“Excellent food, good service, good atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

A small authentic Japanese restaurant with a good selection of foods, from sushis to noodle dishes to tempura. Not overly expensive. The sake selection is disappointing though.

“I would return for sure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

I went there on a Friday night for an anniversary sushi fest and I have to say that the sushi was great. I ordered the number 7 and, though I was disappointed to find that some of the big roles included cooked tuna (WHY!!), it was well made fresh and tasty. The miso soup and seaweed salad were also great. I was disappointed that they wouldn’t make me a tuna sashimi salad because “it was not on the menu” but I did not push very hard and my wife rightfully pointed out that if I would have asked the man with the blade, he would have hooked it up. Anyhow, the food it great, the price is decent for Geneva and the service is good. The sushi chefs are really nice as well. I would definitely go back.

The ambiance of the restaurant is very nice and quiet, nice for a date. They have outdoor seating, but who wants to eat sushi next to some road with no view , not I.

“Excellent sushi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Down to earth resto with terrific sushi and decent prices. Can't compete on design with Miyako or Sushi Shop, but actually beats them on the food. What more does one need?
