Had requested a room on a higher floor(there are only 5 ) not only got one on the 5th floor we also were pleasantly surprised to get an upgrade to a junior suite. Very nice, large room especially by european standards. It had a seating area with a couch, tv, coffee machine & desk area. Loved the bed & pillows. Soft & comfortable. The bathroom had a bathtub with a shower as well as a separate enclosed shower. Simple, clean & modern designs through out the entire hotel. We loved it! Staff was very helpful & friendly too. We would stay at the Eastwest again the next time we are in Geneva.

I was here for 5 days on a conference. The location is very convenient. The hotel is close to both the lake and the train station. Lots of good restaurants around. It is a small boutique hotel with fusion decor (Asian/European). I had a room facing the street and you could hear the street traffic but not to a point where it bothered me. There was a Nespresso machine and a great shower. Breakfast was very good. The selection was not huge but every item I had was excellent. The hotel service was fine. They come around every day in the evening to offer a cookie and a card with the next day's weather forecast. They also seemed to take a lot of effort folding and hanging up my clothes and arranging personal items. I stay in five star hotels all the time for business so it must have been exceptional because this isn't something I think about or notice. This is not a five star resort by any means. It is a very good, reasonably priced, 4 star business hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to others.

We stayed at the Eastwest twice during a trip in May/June 2012. We loved both rooms (one street-side, and one courtyard-side). If you like modern design that is still cozy, this is your spot! The location was fantastic, with proximity to the water, various neighborhoods, and the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. We will definitely stay here again!

We spent two nights at the EastWest Hotel, Geneva in early September, our first stop on a longer European trip. We arrived early in the morning with the usual trans-Atlantic journey ills: limited sleep and that generally awful jet-lagged feeling. The hotel staff was very accommodating and provided us access to our room shortly after arrival (we had not booked the additional “night before” arrival in order to be guaranteed an early check-in). The hotel is a modern, chic, boutique style property with a charming breakfast/bar area off of the reception area. Our room was comfortable, clean and the bathroom stocked with reasonably sophisticated toiletries. There was also a Nespresso coffee maker. The hotel’s location was perfect for us – two blocks from the lake, the Grand Hotels and a water taxi stop -- but other travelers should be aware that within a few meters of the hotel the neighborhood changes significantly, with a high concentration of brothels and streetwalkers. For us, this was a colorful, safe, backdrop and we did not encounter any problems whatsoever. We highly recommend the EastWest Hotel, and will return there on our next visit to Geneva.
