Our 3rd time staying at Eastwest Hotel during March 2012 did not disappoint. Same high standards of customer care, which is really pretty faultless. Our room was towards the back of the hotel this time, rather than an aspect to the front street. This room was of the same high standards as the others. Had breakfast at the hotel but not dinner - breakfast was very good. Would not stay anywhere else when visiting Geneva. Reception staff gave us some good tips on where to visit in the old town and how to travel to the motor show without using the train. Potential guests should note that the hotel provides a free unlimited travel pass for the duration of your stay - valid on trains, buses, trams and water taxis - quite a sweet touch.
Hotel is an easy stroll from the lakeside and the old town. Don't get the impression that eating out is expensive either - we had an excellent meal for two in the old town for around 40 Swiss Francs - including drinks - go into the side streets. Old town is very safe at night - we have walked all over during 3 trips to Geneva and did not see anything to cause concern.
