We have a good fondue and meat platter. It is a nice restaurant and the staff were friendly. It was expensive though...

“Old-style Swiss restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

A warm and inviting place in the old town to visit on a cold February night. The interior is warm and comfortable. The service was excellent, and the food was good. It is a very busy place - we were there on a Tuesday evening around 8pm and it was crowded, so I recommend a reservation or you will likely be disappointed. Appetizers were around 15-20 SFr, mains were about 35-45 SFr.

“Good -”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Long walk up a very steep hill. Reasonable food, my fondue wasn't very substantial, but it was so salty I struggled to finish it. To be fair my wife had a great salad, and my son had a great children's pasta. Wine servings were very small and the price was steep-ish. Not great VFM.

It was clear that all the French speaking/local people were put on the entrance floor, and English speakers / tourists were put in the damp smelling cellar, so that kind of 'dining-apartheid' made me resentful too.

“A real treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013 via mobile

Hard to go wrong. We got a last minute booking in a restaurant that clearly had no open tables thanks to our hotel (East West) We sat downstairs (the ambience is better upstairs but we booked late) the snails were fresh, the fondue was excellent (we have nothing to compare it to but who cares) the staff were really nice. It was a lot of fun and great for families, groups, friends...

“Charming Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2013

This is a lovely restaurant in the old section of Geneva. We were there at 7pm on a Saturday which is when the huge cathedral nearby plays its bells. Wonderful. The restaurant is very pretty and the service was good. However, we were a bit disappointed by the cheeze fondu. It seemed oily (and definitely needed some Kirshwasser).
