Good hotel, easy access to station walking or tram
Can use gym of sister hotel across the road
Some bits outside felt a little dodgy at night but can use main drags
All geneva is expensive and so is thus hotel

We stayed at jade hotel as part of a sightseeing tour of Switzerland. The hotel is convenient for Railway Station and Airport and the walk along the lakeside to the city centre is very pleasant.
The hotel was spotlessly clean, the decor excellent and the rooms larger than expected.
The staff were all polite and helpful and spoke fluent English.
Breakfast was extra and was ok - I didn't feel it was overpriced but it wan't special.
I would stay at Jade Hotel again if in Geneva

I stay at the Jade every year, for five weeks, since 2007. I know it very well and all the people who work there. I never wrote a review because I do not want everyone in the world to find out how special this place is...!
Switzerland is known for its legendary hotel hospitality which is lovely. However, the Jade in Geneva takes it to another level of charm and warmth. Mr. Pedro da Silva (GM) and his extraordinary staff, especially Ms. Rosa, are simply wonderful and take care of each guest like royalty.
The Jade is a small boutique hotel at the heart of beautiful Geneva. It is nested in a quiet street of a central bustling neighborhood named Paquis. Right by its side is its sister hotel N'Yv if you want a feel for a bigger hotel, a luxurious lobby, a snazzy bar and world-class restaurant. The Jade only serves breakfast. Nonetheless, it is the best in town! It is plentiful and healthy and you can enjoy it in the beautiful oasis of tranquility that is the zen inspired garden. Mr. da Silva created a retreat there throughout the years with colorful flowers and plants that serve as home to several types of singing birds. It is lovely to be able to start the day this way. He carefully maintains it changing and updating everything every year.
The Jade is a sanctuary built upon feng shui principles that were carefully designed by a Master in the art when the Jade opened. When I am in Geneva, I am incredibly busy and coming "home" at the end of my day and starting it the right way make a fantastic difference to me.
I have to thank the most charming host, Mr. da Silva, and his loving staff, especially Ms. Rosa, for their outstanding service to the international community that comes by the Jade every year, and from me, I must say, I could stay any other place in town, but I always want to back to my real home away from my home!

Room Tip: Garden facing.

On our way from Venice to Paris we stopped off in Geneva. The Hotel Jade was just perfect.
We had a room with a double and sofa bed. Secure parking and good help and advice from Lucien at reception.
Breakfast was great and way better than we had expected.
The location is only 3 tram stops from the UN, a great tour if you have time. It's also very close to the lake and downtown locations.
We only got a small flavour of Geneva so a return visit will have to happen. When it does we will definitely stay in the Hotel Jade Manotel again.

Booked this to be close to the airport but also the city. Lovely modern, spacious room with great facilities. Friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast.

Half the price of the other hotels I booked in Switzerland but by far the best. I'd stay there again without hesitation.

The hotel is small but the rooms spacious. The breakfast is very good and the location is excellent. A short walk from the major amenities. The staff is corteous and fluent in English, Spanish and French - very useful! We highly recommend this one!!

Room Tip: The ones right on the front line of the hotel have more light

This is a very nice hotel - quiet, convenient to restaurants on Rue to Lausanne, to the waterfront parks (a 10 minute walk), the train station (a 10-15 minute walk). The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is standard for Switzerland - which means very good by US standards - but the hot foods - soggy scrambled eggs, tiny tasteless sausages, and bacon - are subpar.

Two issues:

If you book your breakfast online through the Jade Hotel website it is 10 CHF. But if you book through a second agency, breakfast is not included and you will be charged 20 CHF - about $25, which is ridiculous given the absence of quality hot foods.

A more serious issue - especially for older travelers - is the shower.
The trendy rod-shaped head sprays water in all directions, and there is only a 2 foot glass partition and no shower curtain, so water is sprayed all over the floor, unless you use a very low flow rate and carefully direct it. This makes the floor and towel on the floor sopping wet. The bottom of the shower/tub is about 5 inches above the floor, and so one has to step out of the tub and down onto the wet floor, which is extremely unsafe. Do they not have lawyers in Switzerland? No hotel in the US or Canada would risk such a design. I have encountered other showers without proper enclosures, but not one that also requires one to step down onto the wet floor.

They should either replace the shower head or extend the glass wall so that the water cannot spray onto the floor.
