“Stunning Wall....Stunning Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2014

Parc des Bastions is where the wall is located. It's easy to get there by taking the 12 tram to Place de Neuve stop. The scope, attention to detail and placement of the wall are phenomenal. This is a must see when visiting Geneve. The park is also quite lovely. Here, you can see the oversized chess and checker players.....

“Wall of the Reformation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

No fee, in the University park, which was also the original botanical gardens of Geneva. Takes anywhere from a two-minute walk-past to an hour's reading all the inscriptions and consulting a guidebook for more information. Great coffee shop steps away still in the park as well as large chess sets free to the public. Ice-skating rink in the winter.

“Post Tenebras Lux”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

We would like all of our grandchildren to visit this wall! It shows that many of the good policies that we now enjoy were a result of the Reformation, such as free public schools, protection of Huguenot refugees, pilgrims on the Mayflower, etc. The motto of the reformation and the city of Geneva is "Post Tenebras Lux" meaning "After Darkness Light."
The wall faces a beautiful, restful park with the University of Geneva opposite it. There is a cafe and huge chess & checker boards with giant pieces to play with. Across the street and up the hill to the old city, you will find the longest bench in Europe!
