“Worth the 150 steps to the tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

This is a beautiful Cathedral located in the old town. It has a tower that commands a magnificent view across the Lake and jet. Definitely a must see if you are in Geneva.

“Beautiful workmanship”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

Beautiful cathedral. Only 5chf to the top up the tower where the views are lovely. Amazing history. Well worth a visit. Take your time on stairwell as it is very narrow.

Amazing architecture...beautiful medieval streets. Brick paved streets, street side bistros...loved it all!

“Worth a visit. Not outstanding but what a view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2014

A visit to the Old City district of Geneva should be on every visitor's list. You'll feel the difference the minute you leave modern Geneva and head up into quiet, narrow, climbing streets. I visited on a Saturday and there was a lovely leisurely, unhurried feel to the area. Lunch in one of the numerous eateries in the vicinity is recommended but pricey. The cathedral itself is very austere and plain inside but there is a story as to why that is which you'll find out when you visit. Wonderfully cooling on what was a scorching Summer's day. If you have the stamina to climb to the top of the tower it will be all worth your while for the stunning view over the city and lake.

“Peaceful and a great view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2014

The Cathedrale de St-Pierre in Old Town in Geneva is well worth the visit. For a few francs, you can climb up one of the towers and get a breathtaking view of Lake Geneva and the Jet d'Eau. On a nice day, I highly recommend a visit to the Cathedral.
