“Delicious crepes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

We usually go there to have crepes, I usually get the nutella one with the banans, I also like the ham and cheese, and the apple puree one. I think it's around 9CHF. Baby high chairs are available.

“food is quite good, people-watching is super”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

For lunch or dinner in Geneva, Globus is a great place to go. Prices feel high until you try other Geneva restaurants. We had dinner twice and both times had large servings. You are able to just get drinks and talk and watch the crowd, or choose from a vast variety of prepared foods for a meal. It would be hard not to find somethng that you would love. The Chinese dishes are excellent. You can sit in the middle of the crowd, or, like us, sit on the edge, watching the crowd but still being able to relax. It gets crowded at times, and it closes early, I believe, on Sunday--check on this.
We just wanted water/soda for our drinks and you are able to buy bottles from the downstairs grocery and save a few francs. I also expect you could bring your own bottles from outside and no one would be bothered. In the deli, water and soda all were 5 Swiss francs.
This does not feel like a cafeteria/deli/fastfood place. It is self-serve however, you can get bar service but you collect what you want from different locations.

“Best for people watching”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

Always get a table by the window on the bar, it's excellent for watching people passing by or sitting outside. Variety of food is very good as well as taste. For what it is: a food hall in a department store, I like Globus!

“Distinctly Average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Geneva is SO expensive, and this seemed like the only place we might not be ripped off completely.. Globus has a good atmosphere, and a lot of dishes on offer, but you are looking at around 15 euros for a sandwich ... 25 euros for Sushi/asian dishes. The pancakes are pretty decent at 8 euros, and delicious.

The service at the Sandwich section wasn't great, for my 15 euro chicken sandwich I expect it to at least taste good... it was served with a hot roll and cold meat... I had to ask for it to be reheated, and she looked at me like I was being really rude.

This is more a fast food chic joint, food is available quite quickly and you watch it being prepared... but not really a unique dining experience. Globus is good for a quick bite on route to the airport in a decent location.

“lots of choice and good quality food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012

a bit pricey, but the location and deco/ambience are great, and there's a lot of choice between different types of cuisine without having a cafeteria or fastfood feel to it.
