“Excellent location and welcoming staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2013

5 minutes on foot down from Cornavin station and 2 minutes walk from the river, this hotel is in a very good position. Also nearby is a no 10 bus stop, taking 25 minutes from the airport.
Across the river there is the main shopping street and Place Molard with its open air restaurants and then the old town further up the hill.

The room was good value for money for Geneva but the breakfast was nothing to write home about and certainly not worth paying a large amount for when there is a croissanterie 20 metres to the left of the front door.

Spent three nights here in July. The hotel is a short downhill walk from Conarvin train station. Front desk is very professional and welcoming and provided us with transit passes and a map of the city. Was pleasantly surprised by a very spacious room that provided for a quiet and restful night's sleep. Air conditioning, not available in many other Swiss hotels we stayed in, was a much appreciated respite from the unseasonably hot weather. A plentiful buffet breakfast is served in a lower level room. Geneva's old town and lakeshore are easy 10 minute walks from the hotel. Would certainly stay here again if in the area.

A lovely hotel in a great location just a couple minutes walk to the lake! Stayed one night only in a superior (upgraded from the one I booked) room overlooking a square at the back of the hotel.
Very comfortable bed and lots of great extras like bathrobes, slippers and coffee machine. Staff helpful and friendly. Only down side is lack of parking but we were directed to a safe, public car park a short walking distance away.
Would certainly stay again!

2 minutes walk to the lake in one direction and station in the other. Stayed for one night in 412 - a single type room with a larger than single very comfortable bed - no view, looking straight onto another wall, but very very quiet as a result. Antique style furniture, looking very antique in places but adds to the charm. Excelllent air conditioning. Free internet for as many devices as you need. Staff very helpful. Wide ranging Breakfast buffet for continental - hot food ordered separately - Geneva is expensive and so was the breakfast. Starbucks and numerous cafes just around the corner for a cheaper option. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely quiet hotel with very helpful and charming staff and in an excellent position. One street back from the lake, which is fine if you are not bothered about having a lake view from your hotel. We had a superior room which was large with all bathroom amenities, a great coffee maker and overlooked the tree lined side street which had very little traffic. Only down side is that the lift only started on the first floor! However the staff will help with luggage if needed. We ate in the restaurant on the first night as there was a terrific thunderstorm. This was good, although the menu is limited. Geneva is very expensive, but this hotel was £300 cheaper for our 4 day stay than one we looked at on the lake. Get your train ticket from the machine as you collect your luggage and before you leave the luggage hall. This gives you free travel into Geneva. Very simple and trains are efficient. 5 minutes ride to the centre and a 5 minute walk to the hotel. The hotel will also give you a voucher for free public transport for the duration of your stay. However, the position of the hotel makes it easy to walk everywhere. Would certainly stay here again.
