We only had one night in Geneva, so had to make it count. This hotel was the perfect home base to ensure we were able to see as much in the city as possible in such a short amount of time. We were shocked at the high quality of both the room and the service for the amazingly affordable price we paid. Walking distance to the best parts of the town and seconds fom the train station that took us straight to the airport.

Robes and slippers to keep us cosy in the room...even a turn down service while we were out to dinner!! Thoughtful details across the board. Splendid. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a memorable spot to call home in this amazing city.

Well situated, though parking nearby may be a bit of a problem. A hotel with friendly, homely atmosphere. Perfect service level at the reception. Good, comfortable and cosy rooms with an excellent bathroom. Very recommendable.

Hotel at a great location, very close to the Cornavin train station, about 500 meters. To catch a train is the best way for to reach to the station from airport, 3.5 Swiss frank second class tickets. Check-in easy and fast, front desk person was very helpful, they gave a little city map with a brief story about the places in the city. This was really helpful. He also gave a free pass card for the public transport. It's great because public transportation very efficient at Geneva. Hotel rooms large enough, clean and nice decorated. Furnishing some over aged(antiques) but looks pretty. There were a kettle and complimentary coffee, tea, chocolate, two bottle waters. Bath room well equipped, bright and spotless clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable for a sweet sleep, I could really rest. Breakfast was include to my room rate, it was delicious, with a large variety, include freshly cooked omelettes. As a result, I would recommend for everyone.

First impressions are deceiving. The dark woodwork and stone floor in the lobby seem hopelessly old-fashioned, but the staff is young and super friendly, the room was enormous and spotlessly clean, the bathroom recently updated, and free WiFi for guests. Although it's in the basement, the breakfast room is very pleasant, and the buffet ample. The hotel is an only about five blocks from Geneva's main train station. This part of the city lacks the charm (and shops) of the Old City across the lake, but for travelers it is ideal. One can easily cross the entire city on foot from the Rotary.
