“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

We happened upon this gem recently, and can't wait to go back. Lovely atmosphere, eclectic taste in decoration. We had the "5spice" tasting menu, and found each dish delectable. They were small portions, which for me was perfect. The spicing was delicate, but definitely added something special to each dish. A nice discovery.

“Best meal of our trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2014

We only found this place because Geneva was booked out so we had to stay away from the centre. But what a delight!
My French is good, but not for spice names so we chose the set EpiMenu, a 5-course mini degustation. It was an incredible mixture of fine cuisine and new flavours from the various spices. And really good value for just 58 CHF. The "cheesecake" (their name for it, but it doesn't do justice to the dish) dessert was a stunning mixture of flavours and textures. The meal was the best in our 2-week holiday in the region.

The place is small and well-frequented by locals so I suggest booking.

Warning: the street address is correct but when we went (20 Jan 2014) the TripAdvisor map link was wrong, pointing to a nearby cross-street.

“My new favorite restaurant in Geneva”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2013

Creative, healthy and delicious cuisine with a focus on local and organic produce. Had the best salmon tartare I've ever tasted, accompanied by a perfectly cooked, high quality filet of salmon, plus beautifully prepared beets and chickpeas. This salmon duo is currently their plat du jour on Friday, and you can explore the rest of their menu on their website. The cafe and tea were also very good. (We were there for lunch and did not drink wine, so no opinion there.) Service was friendly and efficient, and the chef came to our table to greet us. The atmosphere is eclectic and informal. It is tucked away on a side street roughly between HUG and Plainpalais, easily accessible by several buses and the 12 tram (Pont d'Arve). I was with several people and we all agreed it was one of the best meals we have had in Geneva. One had been there the previous day for the barley risotto and said it was equally good.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 8, 2013

Finally after my being 40 years in Geneva i found a new restaurant that offers excellent original menus based on varied spices, harmonized side dishes, delightful deserts, in a comfortable and intimate décor, amazing price /quality value and very friendly staff ! Bravo to the chef and owner ! For once the restaurant does more than justice to its web site: http://www.lepicentre.ch/. My only regret is that it is not open on weekends.

“A hidden spicey gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

I enjoyed a business lunch here last Friday. A very talented and dedicated chef, dedicating each day's menu to a particular spice. My only criticism was that it was very delicately spiced, and to my Anglo Saxon palate I would have enjoyed more. We had petit gris to start, with endive leaves and deep fried cabbage like Chinese style seaweed. Followed by sea bass in a broth of foamed coconut milk and fennel and carrots, with long grain and wild rice. All delicious and washed down with a jus pur Beaujolais
