“Average Food, shared seats”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

3 of us meet for dinner on a Friday night and even so with prior reservations, it is common here to share a table and seats with other customers. The food is average and compared to an excellent Thai food in Dubai, its quite expensive, but then this is an average price for Switzerland. They serve Thai beer (singha) and sushi. You can see the small kitchen where the Asian chefs prepare live sushi and rolls, hot kitchen is not possible though, food must have been prepared before.

This place is hype and if you want to join in the crowd this place is for you but if you rather want to have a good Thai food for lesser price, I recommend Tab Tim in Münstergasse (near to the Cathedral). This is a small place with more choices and the staffs are Thai.

“Allways full...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

If you like to have a seat at Nooch you rather take a reservation. It's worth going to visit Nooch, if you like Sushi (best Sushi in town) or noodle-dishes. Moderat prices!

service was lousy, food was cold and the prices were very high. the tables were like you were sitting in a cheap cantina or cafeteria in a train station. what were they thinking?

“Good for a quick asian lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

i like to go to nooch for a quick lunch with colleagues from work (i have never been there in the evening). every day, they have 3 lunch menus, one of them vegetarian. apart from that, there is sushi, and 5-6 "specials" (that - unlike the lunch menus - dont change every day). the food is "asian" - its a bit "westernized". its not thai, but - apart from the sushi of course - i think its best compared to thai food.

the tuna dream (on of the "specials") i really nice - tuna fish coated with seasame seeds and grilled just for a very short time, served with vegetables "asian" style (and of course rice). surf and turf is another special - fried rice with veggies, egg, shrimps (and beef, which i omit).

their home made ice tea is really good. and in colder months, i love to have a hot cup of "ginger twist" tea.

at lunchtime, the place is extremely busy. in summer, you can sit outside. inside, when full, it can get very very noisy, which is the only negative thing i can say about that place.
