“Average ramen, nice staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013 via mobile

Whilst the staff are very welcoming and friendly, unfortunately the food is mediocre at best.

The miso based ramen was bland, and even the array of toppings couldn't help the flavour. The rainbow roll tasted quite fresh.

If the prices were a little more reasonable this could be an adequate diner, but at this cost you need to expect more.

“Fast food ramen”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

Seems that all food comes from already prepared, don't think the kitchen is actually doing much cooking. No flavours really, and they are serving cold edamame. So if you are after a quick bite this is your place. but don't expect something tasty. Nothing wrong with the service though.

“Very Tasty Ramen Soups, Friendly Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We have been there many times. The food is always very fresh, tasty and visually very well presented. I have read comment s here that it is not authentic. For my taste, it is comparable to good Japanese soup places we know from in L.A. and NYC. They aren't "authentic" enough for some people either, but still seem to have several Asian customers who seem quite happy with the fare. The service is always quick and friendly. Atmosphere is a bit sterile for my taste ,the cold energy-saving lights are really terrible, and sometimes the din is difficult to have a conversation through when it is crowded, but that is the tradeoff. Overall, a good value for the money and a pleasant enough place to eat.

“Quick ramen, not bad at all”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

Place is clean and modern, but doesn't give you an impression that this Plc could serve a decent noodles.
But surprise surprise, service was fast and noodles tasted rather good. Chashu was thin but fat and tender as it is supposed to be.

I wouldn't say this is authentic, but given this is in Basel, this place does a good job.
I had chashu ramen shio soup.
