This is an old building on the 'other' side of the water from the chic and expensive shopping and restaurants and cafes, but the walk across the bridge is about 3 minutes. Transit is great and the hotel gives you a transit pass for the duration of your stay. The room was clean but worn. It's a grand dame that has seen better days, but it's clean. What I disliked was that while I had a sink in the room and the showers (very clean) were just outside my room, the one toilet was quite a distance away and one night the light had burnt out and it was freezing cold in there. The proprietors were nice but not there so there was no help. They gave you everything at the beginning, map, transit map, pass, etc. and then close up shop around 5 or 6 and you're on your own, so it's not like a real hotel. And there's no lift. The price is good, though, for Switzerland.
