I went there with a good friend and even though we were a tad early, we were shown to our table.
The service during the whole eavning was exexceptionally. The Aroma is a small restaurant with about ten tables and four waiters. So you never have to wait long, to be attended, plus they were never intrusive.
I had the Antipasto „aroma“ for CHF 29.00. Followed by the Rigatoni alla carbonara for CHF 26.00. Then I had the Tortina di cioccolato caldo con gelato alla vaniglia for CHF 14.00.
The Antipasto was for two people, even though they should have mentioned it on the menu. It was partly great, partly OK and partly boring.
The Rigatoni were perfect though. Nothing more to add.
The Chocolate cake was a bit on the bland size. Same for the Panna Cotta my friend had. Due to this, we didn't take any coffee.
Again, the pasta (mine and hers) were perfect. Desert not close to the level of the pasta. Antipasta good with some boring parts and not worth the price.
I would liked to have tried the Melanzane alla parmigiana they have on their online-menu, but sadly, it wasn't on the printed menu. I defninitively will come back to try the Strozzapreti con calamari and the Saltimbocca alla romana though.
Wine was OK, but I am no connaisseur
So in conclusion? A great place for pasta, a bit on the expensive side though. Nice place for a date!
