We were visiting Pisa and Lucca and decided to make a short side trip to Vinci. This museum has a great deal of charm. It has dozens of exhibits illustrating Leonardo's extraordinary inventions and investigations into irrigation, fluid mechanics, weaponry, industry and flight. A great collection and gives a magnificent overview of the man and his insights and ideas. It is air-conditioned and located high above the charming town of Vinci. A rather pleasant way to spend an hour or two.
