“Always go off the beaten path to find the best food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2013

Went to the center of the Piazza Campo, picked an alley and started walking... About 10-15 minutes later I found this restaurant. Great find.

“Beautiful restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Visited da Divo on our first night in Siena for our anniversary. Excellant service, beautiful surroundings and amazing food. Reasonably expensive but well worth it. Nice place to go for a special occasion.

“Very nice restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 22, 2013

This was an amazing restaurant, but paled in comparison to La Taverna di San Guiseppi in Siena.
However, the service was very friendly, the food was very good, and overall, one of our favourite in 3 weeks in Italy.

“Lovely formal dining room, great tradional food near the Duomo.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 19, 2013

We had a wonderful lunch at da Divo. The dining room is beautiful and quiet. The food was truly excellent. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend the tagliatelle with truffles and the caccio e pepe, the classic test of local cook, was great. If you are not familiar with the dish it's pasta with pecorino and black pepper and it's prepared within the whole cheese. One of our group had the steak tartare which was excellent but better shared with two people as the portion was huge. Good selection of Tuscan wines. The cost is a little above the classic trattoria but well worth it.

“Best place to eat in Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

This was by far our top restaurant on our Italy trip. The ambiance was amazing, you are literally sitting in a cellar surrounded by rock walls. The presentation of the food was outstanding and the taste even better. If I could go here every year for my birthday dinner, I would! Staff was very friendly and the great service added to our wonderful evening. 5 stars!
