“Storybook stay in Siena”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2013

The Quattro Torra was so picturesque! The views from the tower were 360 and breathtaking, the apartment was very clean and comfortable, and Nicola was the perfect host. He helped us before we got there, arranged the fantastic cooking class with Nonna Ciana and Valeria, and even allowed us to use the washing machine for our muddy hiking clothes. We could not have asked for more from our stay at the castle. If you have the time we would also recommend the cooking class at Nicola's farm house with his mother-in-law Nonna Ciana. Valeria met us at the castle, escorted us to the farm house and translated for the cooking class. It was a truly memorable evening!

We absolutely loved this place. Nicola was an exceptionally friendly host, and his family were wonderful even though their English was not as good as his.

The castello and grounds were beautiful and the views from the tower room were literally breathtaking.

This was probably the single best stay my wife and I have had in our lives. My wife had to hold back tears as we left. We cannot recommend this place highly enough!

And be sure not to turn down the chance to have a meal at neighboring Fattoria Le Pietre Vive for the chance to have a true Tuscan dinner experience. It was authentic, charming, fun and delicious!

Room Tip: The tower room has a small spiral staircase but is absolutely worth the additional steps for the stu...

We stayed in Quattro Torra for two days in April and we had an amazing stay.

The castle is only a 5 minutes’ drive from Siena. If you are arriving by car this location is convenient as you can’t drive into the Old Town unless you have a permit. Quattro Torra has free parking and the car park outside the town wall is very close.

The property is beautiful and it truly makes you feel like part of history.

We stayed in the Tower room and I can only recommend it. The views over Siena and the Tuscan hills are breath-taking. The room is spacious and clean.

Breakfast is served downstairs in the living room and it consists of yoghurt, pastries, cold meats, bread, fresh fruit and juices. Great way to start the day.

Nicola (the owner) was very accommodating, polite and helpful.

Look no further if you want to stay at a special place.

Room Tip: Tower room is a must

This is the 4th time I visited Tuscany. We chose to visit a winery near Siena this time and we decided to spend 1 night stay in the ancient city of Siena. We picked Castello Quattro Torra and it's located just 5 min ride from the train station and the scenery is fabulous. The manager, Nicola gave us a warm welcome. gave us detail orientation and recommended a very good place for dinner.

This is a superb experience to stay in a Castle with stories but with appropriate facilities. The ambience there is artistic, homey and clean. If you are afraid of cats, you got to watch out. We met 3 lovely cats walking around the castle or in your room all the times and they really made us a day. It's too short to spend just 1 night there and I will definitely come back.

We picked this hotel last minute as it was within very easy reach of Siena. What a fabulous choice. The place is packed full of history with a typically warm Tuscan welcome. The bed is to die for (or die in!) - in the very high room in one of the towers where we slept. BEST quality duvet ever seen on this planet! The views in the morning from the 5 or 6 windows in the tower were breathtaking over the olive grove and Siena backdrop. Kind and thoughtful host....a must for those who want to dip into something a little bit special.

Our stay in Castello Quattro Torres was a perfect end to our trip around Italy and the best accommodation of all. Waking up in the morning to a storybook view to Siena across the Tuscan countryside was the ideal way to start the day. And we were easily able to make our way between the Castle and Siena thanks to the great assistance from Nicola. Quattro Torres is thoroughly deserving of its high scores on Trip Advisor.
