My friends and I stayed for 2 miserable nights at this hotel. The website we used to book our stay indicated that we would be staying in a 2 bedroom apartment at an address in the city of Siena. Upon our arrival at the address, we were advised that, although our booking confirmation stated an apartment on the hotel premises, the apartment was actually located in the farmhouse about 5 miles outside of the city and would need a car. Since we did not have a car and chose not to rent one, we switched to a room at the hotel. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the hotel is at least 20 minutes by foot to the City Centre. The staff explained that there were 2 public buses we could take to the Centre, but told us to go outside (in the pouring rain) to obtain the time schedules -- they did not keep them on hand in the hotel and didn't see any reason why they should. The part of our stay that made us the most upset, however, was the breakfast. For both of our meals there, they served ham that had a very decidedly "off" odor -- there was no way that it could be considered fresh by any standard. The sliced cheese was hard and dry due to air exposure, and the sliced bread was also hard and stale. Both my friend and another guest tried the grapefurit juice, but couldn't swallow the first sip because it was rancid. These events caused us to decide to cut our 3 night stay in Siena to 2 -- it was worth paying all of the fees involved for cancelling our final night just to get out of there!!! DO NOT stay in the hotel unless you are willing to risk food poisoning!!!!!!!
