“Beautiful Chapel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

But I wanted more information about where St. Catherine lived etc. Was her home still visible? Yet a very moving place with art and meaning.

“Fascinating woman.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2014

When I first visited Siena four years ago and saw the head of Saint Catherine, I had to know more about this woman! As a Protestant, I do not have muck knowledge of Roman Catholic saints and nor do I completely understand the concept of relics. However, St. Catherine's story is compelling! Read up on her and this site will have much more meaning!

“Interesting for religious people”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014

It's a church that for not religious people it's a normal church but it's not. When you see the front you'll notice that there is no door and it even has a gate. The way is complicated so I suggest you to buy a map it doesn't cost any thing but I suggest that just catholic people who are praying. At the right there is even a souvenir shop with interesting things from siena to buy

“Amazing but very religious”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2014 via mobile

Santa Caterina's house is a very quiet place. It has a big church with lots of magnificent paintings. Even from outside it looks very historical with columns and elegant finishes. In the church there are lots of flags of all the contrada's (different flags that represent different teams of horse riding.) There is also a souvenir shop were you can buy lots of characteristic things.

The house is opened every day 09:00am until 06:00 pm. There isn't a lot of cue so you can get in very easily. You don't need to pay it is all free!!!!!!

For me it was amazing! I felt very little when I entered in the church. I advise you to go there so can see beautiful and historical monuments but if you are not religious maybe that's not your place.
