My husband, sister and brother in law stayed here 1 night in November 2012. Wish we could have stayed longer. What a great city, hotel, experience!
We arrived from Chianti region after visiting a winery. We had trouble in the smaller towns finding a place for lunch. When we walked in to the front desk/lobby area, they immediately had someone take all our luggage from the car to the rooms (which was a big deal comparing to all other hotels where we were constantly lugging our 11 pieces of luggage by ourselves), take our car to park it, and offer us snacks on the rooftop. We settled in our room, and spend the late afternoon enjoying wine, beer, and food on the rooftop of the hotel overlooking both the city and the vineyards and watched the sunset.
The rooms were clean and sufficient in size. Breakfast was great. And we had the BEST recommendation for dinner from the woman that checked us in and was one of our best meals in Italy, La Taverna di San Guiseppe.
