My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo Ravizza for 5 nights in September 2015. We loved it! Our room was on the 3rd floor in the corner so was nice and quiet. It faced the amazing garden with a view of the Tuscan countryside. What a sight! The sunsets from the garden or our room were incredible.
The service here is great. A shout out to Francesco who handles the breakfast and also serves lots of other functions at the Palazzo. He is friendly, competent and was a real pleasure to chat with. Breakfast has a lot of variety and we loved using the espresso machine. You can eat in the main breakfast area or in a lower level adjacent to the garden.
The hotel is great about storing luggage, giving restaurant recommendations, and more.
We loved the bakery around the corner that serves the great Siena cookies called ricciarelli. I wish I could remember the name of the bakery but just ask at the front desk.
We loved Da Divo Restaurant. Worth every penny!
We would go out on foot all day and enjoy Siena, and then come back to the Palazzo in the late afternoon/early evening to watch the sunset, have a spritz or gas of wine (they have waiter service or you can order at the little bar at the front desk), and then head out to dinner.
An oasis of a place with great service. Enjoy!!
