“Felt like home”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

We stayed here for two nights and everything was great. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the location was fantastic and it was the best breakfast we had during our week travelling around Italy. Alberto was a very helpful and informative host, giving us lots of helpful tips (our visit coincided with the Duomo mosaics being uncovered, which we wouldn't have visited if it hadn't have been for Alberto).
Our room faced out on to the street, and there was a local festival happening just down the road but we still had two peaceful nights' sleep thanks to the soundproofing on the windows. The WiFi worked well throughout our stay.

Would definitely recommend this B & B! Rooms were very clean and comfortable with nice little touches like a complementary bowl of fresh cherries when we arrived. Wi-fi worked really well and breakfast was awesome! Best cappuccino! Thank you!!!

I spent 3 nights in this b&b. The room was very stylish and comfortable. It had everything we needed - including toothpaste when we ran out of our own. The bed was very comfortable, crisp and romantic with dreamy gauze on the 4 posts. There was a soft fleece type blanket on our bed and although we had perfect temperature control, it was really perfect for cuddling when we opened the window to enjoy the cold, crisp Tuscan air. We were here May 24th - 27th. The weather was quite cool for us Floridians. Our host Alberto was most accommodating. He was so kind and thoughtful in making sure we had a wonderful stay. We really felt welcome and at home. The breakfast was a more than the usual Italian croissant and jellies. I appreciated having access to hot tea, cookies and fruit at any hour. The location is ideal in town. We walked to dinner each night. Alberto's restaurant suggestions were great.

I stayed in this b&b for 2 nights and I must say this place really makes you feel like home. The bed is wonderfully comfortable and the room is beautifully furnished and extremely clean!

Breakfast doesn't have much variety but is good enough for us!

Stayed as a couple on honeymoon in May 2013 and our host, Alberto, even decorated our bed with rose petals! I must really thank him for making such thoughtful efforts!

This is a really great place to stay when you see beautiful Siena. We were greeted warmly and found the room to be very comfortable with two nice beds, linens, and pillows. It's an ancient building with tons of character, yet it has modern windows and plumbing and good lighting. The shower is wonderful. Everything was really clean and the warm towels in the morning were a nice treat. Speaking of treats, breakfast in the very pleasant and convenient lobby area just outside the rooms was exceptional: good cheeses, salami, wild boar sausage, two kinds of ham, hardboiled eggs, a moist coffee cake, croissants, juice, tea, coffee, or espresso, plus cereal and some toast and cookie-like biscuits. Plus there's a selection of fresh fruit in a bowl that stays out all day. Hubby was thrilled to have protein for breakfast after a lot of pastries in Rome. After sightseeing all day, we returned to our room to find a bowl of sweet, ripe strawberries, which we thought was extremely thoughtful, especially if you price strawberries in Siena. Since we needed to leave at breakfast time, the owner offered to have our breakfast ready early and call us a cab, clearly going above and beyond, which we appreciated immensely. The location is really great for seeing Il Campo and especially the Duomo. There's a grocery/wine shop around the corner, a laundry 2 minutes away, a restaurant downstairs, and a great gelato shop a minute away. I ask you, what more could you want? If you go to bed early, you might need earplugs (we wear them when we travel) and we slept like babies. The room rate was very reasonable too. I'd recommend a taxi if you're arriving by train or bus, unless you're a lot younger than we are, and who isn't?

We were a initially a little disappointed by the size of the room however we quickly realised that it didn't matter and that it was in fact extremely comfortable and clean. The room looked brand new, had lovely soft fleece covers on the bed and an awesome bathroom with a shower than actually worked like home! Breakfast was also very good for a B&B and served in their new cute little dining room directly outside of the rooms. It has a great location right in the center with everything you want to see a few minutes walk. Don't forget to go to the 'Consorzio Agrario di Siena' for some fresh pizza slices and then a short stroll down to grom for the best ice cream you've ever had.

We spent a splendid 3 nights at the Quattro Cantoni and it was a discovery that exceeded our expectation. Very bright and cheery, clean and quiet. The staff are professional and also really likeable people, willing to help in any way. We would rate it as the best accommodations overall of our trip.
