“Romantic stay! Just what we wanted!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Had a great stay here with boyfriend. Very romantic. Amazing breakfast. Amazing view from hotel. Lovely room. Just make sure you let owner know when you are arriving! Or else you might be stuck outside the gate and not have intl roaming to be able to call them,ha! Rental car a must. Had a wonderful stay! Lovely management.

Perfect B&B if you want to enjoy the Tuscan countryside, be close to cities (Siena in particular of course) yet be able to escape from the busy crowds. Perfect setting, really nice garden where an abundant breakfast is served in summer, and an infinity swimming pool with a view on nearby Siena! The house itself is nicely decorated, we had the lavender room which was big enough for a 3rd bed (we are couple with a 5-year old). Wifi didn't always work though.

Admittedly this place is a little hard to find (we didn't know if we were at the right place on arrival due to the coded electronic gates and very small sign) and it is a good drive into town (hire a car!) but the stunning views; beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms; attentive hosts; delicious breakfast and peaceful surroundings more than made up for its slight remoteness. We were also on our 'minimoon' so were left a bottle of prosecco in our room which was a lovely touch.
The manager recommended a couple of restaurants to us that were nearby (still a drive away) and they were both great and very good value for money. The weather was too chilly to make use of the infinity pool during our stay (end of May), so we will be back at some point to make use of it!

If you are going to Siena, stay here! The farmhouse is lovely, the room was spotless with bags of character. The pool overlooking Siena is breathtaking. Breakfast is outside with homemade cake and fresh pastries. The owner is very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. It is out of the centre so a car is best but apparently there is a bus nearby. Will definitely return, wouldn't stay anywhere else! Thank you for a lovely stay!

3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2013 via mobile

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week in June and it was costly. The pool is not heated and at it was too cold to swim in. The breakfast is tasty though only served between 9 and 10am and one morning they ran out of meats and cheese when the hotel was running to full capacity. The rooms are small and dark and our bed sheets were made up but not changed during the week. Toiletries were not plentiful. We were not offered any breakfast when we had to leave at 7am to catch an early flight. However, the hotel does feel personal and the owner is pleasant and helpful when required.

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely stay. The feel of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms and communal areas are stunning too, not forgetting the pool and outside dining area.

We had a little trouble finding it as there are no signs along the little track to the hotel but the younger lady who welcomed us on arrival was great and very informative. The owner was pleasant although could have been a little more interactive with guests.

The rooms were fabulous and had all items we needed, there is a communal kitchen which I wasn't expecting and breakfast was a delight! We ate indoors as the weather was cool but the views of Siena from the dining table were phenomenal. Freshly baked pastries and fresh coffees were a delight - I could've got very used to that!

The centre of Siena is about a 10-minute drive and unfortunately there are no bars or restaurants within walking distance.

Would recommend for those looking for a quiet, relaxed location!

The agrotouristic small hotel has 6 rooms in two floors with two seeting rooms in each floor which gives you a very homy feeling. The dining room where breakfast is served is also very warm. The decoration was excellent, very close to what I expected in Tuscany ! The hotel had also an excellent view to the city of Siena.
Unfortunately the service was not very good, actually our bathroom was never cleaned very well during our 4 night staying. The breakfast was quite poor, without eggs, and only toasted bread.
