“Really disappointing, and not worth visiting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

We were recommended to have a coffee and take in the ambience at Cafe Nanni, but we were so disappointed by the whole experience. The espresso was the worst we've ever had, and the glasses were dirty and we had to ask to have them replaced.
The service was nine existent, they were waiting for a large group to arrive, and therefore weren't interested in our party of 5 people.
There are so many other smaller cafes that are far better than this.

“Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

The fig panforte and ricciarelli are absolutely delicious. We also got the cavallucci cookie which was just ok. I'd recommend getting them to go and sitting in the Piazza for a delightful afternoon snack.

“Nice views but overpriced”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

We visited the branch in the Piazza del Campo. I had a mixed fresh fruit juice, which was alright but a little disappointing. The biggest problem was that the bill took nearly half an hour to arrive, though we weren't too bothered as the piazza was so wonderfully beautiful.

“Great Treats”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Great selection of panforte and other nibbles, might be more expensive than other places, but tastes better as well!

“A true taste of Siena”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

Although the guide book suggested this was worth a try I wanted to see for myself. The fresh pastries were delicious and it is worth stopping here for a morning coffee at the front before the crowds get larger. A good selection of pastries and savouries are on offer so it is hard to choose. All are very fresh, tasty and reasonably priced so worth the effort. Staff were pleasant and there was no problem when I asked for soya milk in my cappuccino. By far the best of the holiday. Many edible souvenirs and bags of coffee are available at the rear of the shop along with a good selection of wines. For the coffee, pastries and baguettes I forgot to say that you queue and pay before you receive them. Worth knowing. We went twice to this shop which says it all!
