Wonderful llittle hotel, walking distance to San Gimignano, which is good because there are no parking spaces there and there is a car park at the hotel. Run by sisters, who are very helpful and polite. Rooms are decent sizes with fantastic bathrooms. The pool area is perfect with many sunbeds and the most amazing view of San Gimignano and the Tuscan countryside. Perfect location for touring all of the Tuscan villages. Wanted to stay longer, but will return!

We decided to stay at the San Michele for its central location in Tuscany and a 10 minute walk to the amazing midieval walled town known as the ' City of beautiful towers'.

This is a reasonably small hotel with around a dozen or so rooms all easterly facing,so you are welcomed in the morning with a wonderful sunrise followed by the distant sound of the early morning cockral.completed with the typical view of the Tuscan coutryside,which is rather stunning.

We recommend booking an upper floor room for the best view!
The swimming pool is set in a colourful garden with views.

The cotinental breakfast is not to everyones cup of tea, but is helpful on the wasteline.

We booked ' last minute' - but received very quickly response to our mails. The rooms with a view are INDEED with a nice view - Toscan wine hills and olive trees. And the same view is from the swimmingpool. Thank you for nice holiday.

The hotel is easy reachable by car, with private parking and nice garden for romantic gateway in Tuscany evening. The swimingpool is quite big , with deep zone and comfortable sunbeds. The pool towels are charged 3 euros each!
Hotel rooms are simple, but spacey and clean. It is very quit hotel - comfortable sleeping.
San Gimignano is reachable by car /expencive parking/, by local bus /1 euro day ticket/ or by foot -15 min walk.
There is no reastaurant around, dinners are possible only in town.
The breakfast is simple cold buffet - not wide variety of items, but it is a small hotel...
The prices for drink and wine in hotel are nice.
