Hey Friends! The nicest little Hotel I have stayed in Tuscany is here! We were 4 friends from Mexico, We rented a car in Florence and drove thru Tuscany fields! The best of the best!
We plan several overnights in different little medieval towns to taste the gourgeus Wine and Italian Delicatessen.. The parking in San Gimignano is Outside the medieval town. the Parking # 2 (with a charge) it s located 150 meters from the Hotel.. not bad at all..
The Hotel is excellent! The rooms and not really wide but very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast is included and the panoramic terrace is FANTASTIC! The restaurant open also at night, but of course, the views in the morning during breakfast are breathtaking!.. I will come back for sure! The town of san Gimignano is great to stay for three days minimum and be the based to explore the surroundings! The medieval town is lovely especially at night ! all the restaurants I tried were delicious. Do not miss the Ice Cream Shop in the corner of the central "piazza".. they advertised it self as the "best of the World"...delicious! Good luck!

This hotel is just off the main street. It is filled with history. Staff are great and have some English. Room large but a unique shape. Door onto a veranda, shared , looking over Tuscany from a great height to the East. Fantastic view. The restaurant is superb with that same view. Service in here is a class act like a Michelin place. We had 2 dinners both superb quality. Breakfast buffet the best we had in Italy. A good reason to go back to Tuscany

We didn't have any reservations when we were driving in Tuscany. We wanted to check out the town and then decided we should stay overnight. We stumbled upon this hotel.

It was a great little place with nice staff, big rooms, decent breakfast and a garage nearby to park our rental car. We enjoyed sitting in the sun, sipping our coffee and being mesmerized by the totally awesome view from the breakfast room!!

San Gimignano was very quiet after 7 PM but it was awesome to wake up and explore the village before the huge crowds appeared. It's not the Hilton but I would highly recommend this place to most people.

My husband and I spent 7 nights at this lovely little hotel using it as a base to visit some of the wonderful hilltop towns which are within very access. As all the reviews say, San Gimignano is full of tourists during the day but in the evening is a different story. We chose to stay here as we like to be able to walk rather than drive to a restaurant/bar in the evening and there are some excellent places to eat within a a few minutes walk from the hotel. Our room, number 21 on the top floor, was perfect with 2 sets of doors on to a tiny balcony where we sat every evening before and after dinner.The view is simply beautiful!!! The room has both AC or ceiling fan, small sofa plus table and chairs which was really useful. Bathroom was fine but a bit dark. I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom. The hotel does have nearby reserved underground parking at 15euros/day but we parked at the lower car park, P1 for 6euros which is only about a 10min uphill walk. Good for walking off the Tuscan food!!!
The staff are very helpful and friendly, free internet access is available, breakfast is perfectly adequate though rather unimaginative after 7 days of exactly the same. Do ask for fresh cappuccino or espresso as the regular coffee supplied is a bit grim though they will charge you for a second cup! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it.
