We found this lovely little place by accident while meandering around the streets of San Gimignano on a hot day in August. It is hidden in Vicolo Mainardi not far from the City gate at the opposite end of town to Porto San Giovanni. It is small but air-conditioned with a huge selection of delicious Bruschette at around 7-9 euros per portion. If you only require a snack then one portion would probably be enough to share. There is rock music playing in the background - but not too loudly- as the owner has a real interest in groups such as Black Sabbath. Very pleasant staff and well worth a visit.
