“Best view in SG!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

It is the highest tower in San Gimignano and to climb up, sure is worth it!
It costs €5 and it is not so tough to climb. Anyhow view is incredible.
You can see the whole tuscan countryside (360 degrees). And appreciate the city of San Gim... completely, roofs, streets, squares, 14 towers and the walls.
Incredible place for pictures and you will like to stay there ... for a log while. Don't miss it!

“Wonderful Views are worth the hike up!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2013

Husband and I have walked up many towers and church domes in Europe, but the view fromt he Bell Tower is by far the best view. It was quite a hike to the top, including watching your head and being thankful for the bubble wrap the tower operators have placed in areas to keep people from bumping their heads. However, I would certainly make the trip up again to see the great views of the region.

“No queue for a stunning view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013 via mobile

Having queued and been sent away 3 times to climb the clock tower in Sienna and not even bothering to join the horrific looking line in Florence, this place was an extremely pleasant surprise! There was no queue. It cost €5. There were the no other people at the top when we were there and the view of the city and surrounding countryside was breathtaking. Quite literally a highlight of the trip!

“Best view in San Gimignano.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

From atop this tower (the highest one you can climb in San Gimignano), you can see nearly all of San Gimignano and the surrounding countryside. Given the number and height of the towers in the town, this is really the only way to appreciate the entire city. You feel doubly as high at the top as well, because the town is atop a large hill, so you get to appreciate the distance to the surrounding areas. This was a pretty easy climb to the top, and well worth it.

“Climb the tower”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

We only payed the admission for the tower, and it is worth the visit. Thw view is great and there is plently of space on the top. The iron (net) stairs are a see-through, could be hard for those with hight problem.
