The location is ordinary, the frontage is non-descript and you can never be sure from just looking in. Take my advice. Walk boldly into the restaurant, past the desk and behold the dining area.
The menu states the chef is the owner and he leaves no stone unturned to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable occasion. Pleasant and welcoming staff, lengthy and varied menu, delicious food - and all at reasonable prices. We visited twice - on first visit, Le Patron advised me against the salmon - not as fresh as he would like - and went to great lengths to highlight and explain his suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed the fare, starters and main courses, although somewhat restricted choice on desserts - hardly a problem by that stage.
Added bonus to residents of Hotel Bologna - it's only twenty metres on the right from the front door. We enjoyed our visit - we went back two nights later. Only closure on a Monday prevented us going three times.
