Pleasant hotel in which we stayed for 3 nights. Rooms are modern, lot of space, silent airco, comfortable beds and modern bathroom. The siuation is excellent, near highways and other roads to villages nearby. But you need a car to get to the hotel. It's not close to the city center.
The hotel has a nice garden though in real it's a lot smaller than the website make you believe. It also has some terraces on the first floor with comfortable sunchairs. We only used breakfast and some drinks. We dined outside the hotel in a very cosy restaurant nearby (opposite the hotel).
Plus is the parking garage.

We stayed at the Hotel San Ranieri for one night before we picked up our tour the next day. From our arrival to our departure the staff were very helpful. The hotel location was only 10 minutes from the airport. The free shuttle bus service, to the airport, was excellent. I contacted the hotel by email to arrange the pickup. The hotel restaurant was expensive so we eat at a restaurant a few minutes walk from the hotel .

Nonchalant staff who were flippant and unhelpful. Interior designer clearly stayed in a brothel the night before he came up with his plans.

Waiter at bar took order but never came back. Over priced room and bar. Nothing within walking distance. There is more life in a graveyard. This place is just disappointing.

This hotel was exactly as it appeared on the numerous web sites we looked at. It's modern, very clean and well kept. The staff are very friendly and helpful, they helped us numerous times to find the best way to get to places and to book tables at restaurants for us, as our Italian was a little lacking. Orlando, the bar man was particularly helpful and very accommodating, and made a mean cocktail.

The breakfast was very good, a lot of choice, and very fresh. It was wonderful to sit outside and eat your breakfast in the morning sun. We did eat at the restaurant one night and the food was very good and the chefs are willing to make you something not on the menu. It was a bit expensive though in comparison to the wonderful restaurants in Pisa itself.

The hotel is a little way from the centre, but only a 10 min bus ride and there are a few bus stops very close to the hotel. The rooms were well kept and equally modern, with nice bathrooms. The only downside was the lack of a pool, there is a pool that you can use and they provide a courtesy bus for you, but it's a public pool and the courtesy bus times are limited. The Internet access pc's in the lobby was very useful as you could print out directions and maps and there was wifi available throughout.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and would go back here, the staff couldn't do enough to help you

I stayed at this hotel during two nights for a one day conference in the neighborhood. The hotel has a most special design. All parts of the room and building seem to be specially designed. Normally I am more for function than design but I liked this and all the required function was there as well. However the design sometimes made it hard to understand how to operate things. After entering the room it took me a couple of minutes to get the light on and the TV, which was cut into the mirror of the room, I never was able to turn on. Of course if I was really interested I could have asked for help.
The air-conditioning in room was really good, silent and efficient. Even with an outdoor temperature well above 30 C you could get any desired temperature in the room. And I like it cool. This is really extraordinary! Overall the room was really silent but I think this was due more to the quiet surroundings rather than extreme sound proofing of the walls. One could hear noise form other rooms and the corridor but that was not disturbing at all. The hotel is not situated in the city part of Pisa but more on the countryside, quite close to the airport. The hotel offers a free van to the airport and also, I think, to the city. They can even pick you up on the airport if you let the reception know when you arrive in advance. The van takes about 15 minutes to the airport. I contacted the reception in advance via email and they replied really fast. This is highly unusual, in most hotel you get no reply at all or a reply a day later.
The hotel has a free breakfast buffet which is quite OK but not extraordinary. A country which, I think, has the best food in the world could do slightly better. The quality of the food is OK but the selection could be wider.
I will definitely stay there again!

We stayed here for one night on route to Siena for a wedding. The hotel is very convenient for the airport - about 5 mins by car. The hotel reception is bright and airy and the reception staff were welcoming and very helpful, providing us with a map and directions to the Leaning Tower. We had two rooms on the ground floor which were spacious and very clean with nice bathrooms. We didn't have an evening meal, just drinks in the beautiful garden and the waiter brought us loads of snacks to accompany our drinks. The waiter was very friendly. Breakfast was lovely - eaten in the garden in the sunshine. Overall, we have no complaints at all and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will have no hesitation in visiting the hotel again and would recommend it to our friends and family. Thank you.
