Nice and compact hotel except the garden (needs to be attended to. Slightly kills the beauty of the hotel). The room was beautiful, clean and a good size. The reception/owner was very helpful and nice. Although it's strange that the hotel is closes at 1am and you can't leave the premises with the key. Walking distance to the Leaning tower of Pisa, the river and the central parts of Pisa.

I stayed here for one night. Its clean and comfortable, Breakfast was good.
Its a 5 minute walk away from everything you would want to see. Situated on a quiet street.
The owner was lovely but conversation was limited due my non existent Italian and their limited English. They were lovely though.
Its all you would need for a quick stay at a decent price.

Down a quiet side street, this hotel is very well located near to the Leaning Tower. It's also near Pisa's buzzy market district with lots of cafes and bars- turn left out of the hotel, then immediately right down via Alessandro Volta, then just keep going straight on down narrow streets.
Our room was small but quiet, looking out on the little garden. Although the gentleman on reception spoke only a little English, he was very helpful, fixing our safe and lending us an adapter for the Italian sockets. Italy has slightly different electrical sockets to the rest of Europe so your adapter may not work; as we were travelling on to other cities, we bought an adapter from an electrical shop in via Massimo D'Azeglio, near the train station.
It's possible to reach the hotel by bus from the airport or train station; take the Ligno rosso and get off immediately after the bridge over the river. Go back towards the river then take the first left which is via Roma.
Only quibbles were that the bed was hardish, and the breakfast room was small; we didn't have to wait for a table but some people who arrived later did.

We stayed 2 days in Hotel Novecento, Pisa, on a business and family trip. Location was great, in the center of town, within walking distance of tourist attractions and excellent restaurants. Nicely restructured ancient building. Clean and safe. Owners were friendly and most helpful. Public parking in the immediate vicinity.

Booked early September 2013 via Venere on a great rate. The hotel then cancelled the booking claiming credit card was entered incorrectly. This was untrue. Going back to try to book again, price had significantly increased. So binned it off and went to an amazing b&b called Five Roses in Pisa.
Suspect they decided not to provide the room at the published rate.

We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The location is great, in the city centre, close to the tower. Our room was outside the main building, in the lovely little garden at the rear. The garden is also the only place where you can relax and sit for a while. The lobby doesn't exist. Overall, it presents well. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner was more than friendly and very helpful to us.
