“Very, very nice hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2012

Nice rooms, nice breakfast, nice people (family?), nice garden. Situated in old town, near the tower, restaurants, bars, cafés, only 5 - 10 min to the airport by taxi.

Room Tip: 201 is a good room with balcony to the garden.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and on the door step of the tower. It was all you need for a few days break and ideally situated for getting around Pisa. Enough restaurants and cafes to eat in within walking distance and bus, taxis plentiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to spend a few days in Pisa who wants to be able to return to take there time viewing the sights.

We stayed in the hotel for 1 night in May 2012 in the room right above the flag. When we entered the room it had a intense smell probably from some kind of chemical treatment. The wall in the bathroom was mildew infested. Other walls had deep cracks. The floor looked doubtful so we wiped it with a tissue and it became black. The older man at the reception was friendly and very helpful but a woman preparing the breakfast was quite the opposite. When we asked to have breakfast in the garden where was space, tables and sun the answer was a rude NO. Location of the hotel is very good, halfway between the tower and the railway station.

We found the hotel had been beautifully restored and it was lovely and clean. Nice white sheets and towels. The garden was a peaceful haven after walking on the cobbled streets. The position was close to the tower. A short walk takes you to many eateries. The hotel was all we wanted for a few days in Tuscany. The train station is about 15 mins max away to take you to Lucca, Florence etc. and very cheap.

Room Tip: First floor overlooking the garden. DO NOT change money at the stations Western Union office unless...

This is a real Italian small hotel with good clean accommodation in walking distance of the city but in a quiet street. A rather trendy little place with a lovely small garden with a seating area.
The room we stayed in (L'uva) even had a small balcony with seats to enjoy the evening sunshine. Our only criticism would be the breakfast...... Although adequate, the choice was rather sparce. Because the breakfast room overlooked the garden which was lovely we thought it was a better choice than going out.
Overall we were very pleased.

We have just returned from Hotel Novecento in Pisa, This hotel is a family run hotel and is in the center of Pisa and just a short walk from the tower.

The owner was lovely and made our stay very pleasant, we stayed on one of the garden rooms which were great; there is a garden where you can sit and enjoy the flowers.

Pisa is very small so we went to Florence for a day tip, I would highly recommend this, just 20 Euros by train 1 hour away.

If you choose to stay at this hotel you will enjoy your stay 

Room Tip: Ask for a garden room

When ryanair pushed back the flight we were forced to stay in a hotel in Pisa for the evening. Decent enough hotel, very close to the leaning tower of Pisa and a 10 min cab journey from the airport. Maybe a little on the pricey side but need to take into account that this was booked last minute over the Easter weekend. Great little Indian across the road
