You cannot fault this hotel for location and convenience re the Tower. Parking provided was a definite plus for us. As most other reviewers note - its not a luxury experience by any means but it is well worth it for the location.

The most basic hotel we have ever stayed at although location one of the best! Market right outside the door, macdonalds next door and the leaning tower a very short walk away. Breakfast as basic as the hotel so chose macdonalds on our second day! A very noisy hotel too! Also you have to pay up front! We now know why! Friendly staff so if your ok with hostel type room then you would be ok to choose this hotel.

Excellent location if you want to see the tower and the rest of the lovely old buildings, but not so good if you want to be in the centre of things (i.e. not where the tower is). The breakfast was ok, fine for the money. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, however the en-suite bathroom needed a little cosmetic attention. Being right in the historic part of Pisa, don't expect an amazing view as the buildings are a bit crammed together.

Ok so the smallest of all the rooms we stayed in on our 10 day tour of Italy but location was great. Right in the heart of it and about 30 seconds walk from the tower which is the highlight of pisa.

Room was clean, bed a little hard and breakfast was ok.

Not a luxury hotel but was acceptable for one night to visit pisa and would happily recommend it to anyone who's just looking for a bed for the night, friendly staff and breakfast.

parking was free at a nearby location which was good as some places charge up to 24 euro per night.

The hotel is situated on a small square very close to the Leaning Tower of Pisa. This makes it convenient for visiting the tower & the duomo etc however it also means you can get caught up with the hords of day trippers and need to walk a bit further for the better restaurants. The nearby Botanical Gardens of the university of Pisa are open to the public and provide a peaceful haven. The Giardino Tower is the far side of the river (The Arno) from the central station and the airport. However there is another station (Pisa S Rossare) within walking distance with connections to Lucca, Florence, Rome etc It is also possible to visit the coast (Marina di Pisa, Viareggio etc) by bus from the square. The price includes a basic breakfast. It does not include the 'city tax' of 1.50 euros per night and we had to pay for a room to leave our cases on the last day as space was limited.

Room Tip: Ask for a single superior (singolare superiore) to guarantee a window or you may just have a very po...

I stayed at this small hotel with my mom last month. It was easy to find, next to McDonalds (cheaper food in Italy, impossible, and great coffee and bread section), light breakfast included with some tuscan products and great capuccino. it doesn't have an elevator, but there's only one level above the ground level. It's in an area full of restaurants and cafes.

The staff was always attentive and friendly, but the bathrooms need a window or a remodelation. That's all the bad we saw!
