“excellent for the budget hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 days ago NEW via mobile

typical 4 star standard with budget price. we stayed 1 night here and we enjoyed the clean and nice room especially high quality bed sheet. There is a quite big mall where has a huge supermarket next to this hotel. convenient. We removed 1 star becuase of FREE wifi only availabel in the lobby. Otherwise this is more than surpise treat comparing the price we paid.

it is disappointing that there was no wifi available in the rooms. there was wifi available on the first floor lobby, but in these modern times, for there to be no wifi in the rooms is enough for someone not to book here.

Stayed here for 3 nights while attending a conference at Pisa's Palazzo dei Congressi‎.

Staff: Each person we dealt with was gracious and helpful, particularly at the front desk. 5 stars. Best part of the hotel, aside from it's very reasonable pricing.

Location: The hotel is not near tourist sites, but it is 2 km from University of Pisa and the river (on a straight line, and not unreasonably long) and just off the "blue line" bus which took me to/from my conference and to main railway station cheaply and easily. We used a cab to arrive from the airport but never needed one again. The hotel is just across from a popular shopping mall that has a very nice supermarket -- one of our friends used that market (it has cooked food) as a source for dinner multiple times while staying at the hotel.

Comfort: Rooms are stylish and reasonably comfortable. Might be a little too stylish for some (lots of glass, italian minimal on counter space).

Dining: Breakfast was fine and included, but too crowded at opening (7 am) due to frequent busloads of overnight tourists who are gone by 7:45. There is supposedly a restaurant, but it never seemed to be open for dinner or lunch but I did see it used for special events. The lack of food options is the major limitation -- there are a couple of small options at the nearby mall and I did walk past a few places if I was willing to go about 1 km or more.

Wifi: While there is "free" wifi, the "free" version is often so limited as to make you want to pay to get real bandwidth.

I chose this hotel as it's by Marriott and recommended by BA holiday. The breakfast was very average. The AC in our room and some other rooms didn't actually work. Make sure you ask the reception and get the room with AC. It can be very warm at night, and if you open the window it can be very noisy. The wifi is free to use in the lobby area. When we checked in, the reception gave us the room key and he wrote a username and a password on a piece of paper for us to use in the room. If you don't want to pay extra for wifi make sure you don't accept it. It came to a surprise when they charge us for the wifi even we never use it at all. It's €9/day. The location of the hotel is out of town but you can reach by bus from there, the bus stop is just a couple of metres away, and the bus is quite frequent, €.1.20 or you can grab a taxi from the mall nearby, it costs about €7 to the station/town. If you ask the hotel to call the taxi, the meter will start € 6.90?. We manage to change the room to one that the AC was working the next day, and it made a big difference.

Room Tip: Check that the AC is working

The hotel is situated pretty far away from the main attractions of Pisa. The staff is very friendly and helpful in assisting you with the options of getting into town. If you are willing to use public transport and be away from the sites this is a good option.

The hotel is a typical business hotel and truly ok for that.
The staff is efficient and fast, but very busy (especially at the front desk). However, we got all we asked for within minutes (like extra towels).
The room was clean and the bed super cozy (slept very good!).
Breakfast is sufficient (we asked for boiled eggs and got a full bowl next day - just ask Larry, he is great and helpful!).
Only weak spot is the bad connection to the city centre via public transportation. After 8pm there is no bus out anymore (or we were not able to figure that out).

I stayed for one night while meeting relatives in Pisa. Arriving late at night with a rental car, I had great difficulty finding the hotel as it is located outside of the city center despite the address given as Via del Torre. All the locals I asked thought it was near the Leaning Tower, about 3km from the actual location.

Once I found it, everything was good. Staff were very helpful, fluent in English, and very efficient. The room was modern, clean, and well equipped. I particularly liked the clean lines and efficient lighting which complemented the modern furnishings. The one-piece glass sink/countertop in the bathroom was a little disconcerting. I'm not used to staring at my feet while I brush my teeth!

There was free outdoor parking as well.

Room Tip: All the rooms are probably good as it is a modern property set amid a suburban part of Pisa
