“Quiet and lovely hotel.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2012

Villa Argentieri is a delightful villa in the country and few minutes from the center of Pisa. It 'a small and intimate hotel with a few rooms. I really liked the garden and the swimming pool.
My room was very spacious and elegat.
The cuisine was very good. It's possible to have breakfast or dinner in your room, with good food and service.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
I appreciated the opportunity to stay in a quiet place with traditional tuscan style.

“a hidden paradise in Pisa”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2011

We stayed here for one night at the end of October. The hotel is perfectly situated in a quite street just about less than 10 minutes walk from the leaning tower. The room is clean, warmly decorated and well renewed, with a nice picturesque view on the garden. Bed was big but not so comfortable as expected. We had breakfast directly in the room without any surcharge and it was great to start the day in such a relaxing tasteful way. Staff is kind and helpful. I strongly suggest this hotel for a romantic escape.

“What a Fabulous Stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2011

My friend and I went to Pisa for a birthday celebration week, and wow what a fabulous place to stay this is! The rooms are all uniquely decorated and beautiful. The garden is picturesque, very well maintained and provide a true oasis on return from a day out in the surrounding areas or merely for a lazy day by the pool. The staff and service cannot be faulted. The breakfast is fantastic and well worth the money to stay here.

The main attractions of the Leaning Tower are a matter of a few minutes stroll away, with some typically Italian Restaurants in the Piazza del Dummo. The sunsets are amazing seen from either the grounds of the Piazza or indeed, as we did from the top of the Tower. The main train station in Pisa Central is also within walking distance and this opens up the opportunity to explore the local area. The train links are good and we took a trip into Florence, which again was an absolute experience!

Daniella - the owner of the property is very helpful. The service provided by Pasqua, the daily help lady is fabulous too. The rooms are cleaned every day including fresh towels each day and the beds are comfortable and clean. I would most definitely make a return trip to this villa!

Room Tip: Be prepared for mosiquitos and take plenty of repelent!

“Hidden Gem - Great location, friendly staff and good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2009

We stayed for one night in late July and were pleasantly surprised. We were the only guests in this small villa that is the annex of the main house. A word of warning - it is very difficult to find even when we were on the Via Vanni and if you arrive at night it will be even more complicated. Once you figure it out, there is private parking off the street and you are 5 minutes walk to the Duomo and the Leaning Tower. We had a restaurant recommendation from the hotel that was in the town proper and away from the tourist sites and we ate a great Tuscan meal for a modest price.

We had a moderate size room overlooking the swimming pool. It was comfortable and well equipped for this class of hotel. We ordered breakfast the nigt before and it was served by the pool - fresh fruit, crisp pastries and a boiled egg along with great coffee.

Shop around for the best rate - we saw a huge variation (+/- 50%) from different sites.

“I am sure there are better places to stay”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2008

This hotel is OK and does provide a change from modern faceless equivalents. However, the management is very disorganised - it doesn't surprise me that others have had bookings 'lost' as they seemed unprepared for our arrival - despite confirmation by e-mail.
The mosquitoes are terrible.
The rooms are nice but rather dark and a bit musty.
The breakfast was disappointing.
