What can I say about this hotel that hasn't already been said. Nothing actually but needless to say that will not stop me restating that this hotel should be your first choice if you plan to stay in Pisa. The hotel is set in a fairly quiet back atreet in Pisa only a few minutes walk from the Station and around 20 minutes walk to the Airport. The hotel is simply, but very tastefully decorated, with good size comfortable rooms that are well maintined and spotless.

What makes a good hotel a great hotel are the hosts and Angela and Pia make this a great hotel. They are not only friendly and helpful but take great delight in ensuring their guests have a very enjoyable stay and are always willing assist with directions or recommend their favourite restaurants (we visited two during our stay - Il Campano & Osteria Bernardo both of which were excellent). Angela & Pio also very kindly provided a good selection gluten free breakfast options for my daughter.

I have to say that normally I am very sceptical about customer service reviews but I feel it's well worth mentioning how good the customer service was at this hotel. Every stage from checking in to checking out was excellent. The room my girlfriend and I had was brilliant, much more than I expected. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Pisa. Fantastic hotel!

We stayed two nights, one at each end of the holiday. The hotel is very handy for the station with perhaps a 10-15 minute walk over the bridge to the tower. The area looks a little scruffy but is perfectly safe and at least we were not bothered by the annoyingly persistent leather and tat sellers who plague the centre. The rooms are a good size, clean and well furnished (0n our second stay we had a very large, light and airy room with french windows on to a balcony). The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent, buffet style with a good choice including homemade cake and fresh coffee to order. Breakfasts can be taken in a small flower shaded courtyard ( a perfect setting on a hot morning- or indeed for a drink later in the day)

We stayed here for one night in June on the way home from a holiday in Tuscany.

I agree with previous reviews that the exterior of the hotel doesn't really indicate what it is like inside. It is nicely furnished and spotlessly clean.

The owners were absolutely charming and very helpful with restaurant recommendations and directions etc.

The location is incredibly convenient for the airport and the city centre is an easy and pleasant walk away (20 mins to the tower).

We selected the hotel through hotels.com because it had parking and thought this would be included in the price but it was an additional charge of 10 Euros.
