“Small but perfectly formed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

This hotel is all about location and modernity, it is located just outside the gates to the Unesco World Heritage site of the Piazza del Duomo. All the "big" attractions are located here. Il Duomo, la Torre Pendente, il Battistero e il Camposanto (ticket for all, bar going up the tower, 8 Euro). If you go to the Battistereo make sure to stay long enough to hear the echo being demonstrated, also go upstairs to stick your camera out for a snap of the Piazza.

OK - our room was on the small side (which we knew in advance), but it was modern, with ac, a powerful shower in a modern bathroom and tv was fine (all Italian channels). WiFi was available in the bedrooms, no additional charge, and had a strong signal. Location is brilliant. We did not want to eat in the hotel, lucky as no option to, but we walked down the road to a local café for fab pastries and coffee. (McDonalds is opposite and has a coffee and patisserie shop which is much cheaper than local options but then not as good). Staff are polite and helpful with lots of good advice.

Not really suitable for a very long stay, more a two night weekend break.

A super restaurant is also within walking distance, La Taverna da Emma, as are all the local things to do.

Room Tip: The website is very clear about your options. But they respond promptly to email. This hotel is ab...

Three of us stayed for four nights we found the hotel easy from the airport with directions on map from hotel. When we got there we was greeted by the owner who was waiting for us he explained everything and all the staff was extremely helpful . The rooms where well decorated very clean and tidy clean towels and bedding every day . The hotel is set in a perfect location just a few metres from the tower and easy walking distance to the shops.

Fantastic location. Clean, nicely Decorated rooms and lovely little garden. Very helpful friendly staff. Facilities are basic - no breakfast included as they don't have a kitchen. Vending machines for hot drinks, water and snacks - not my cup of tea - but loads of lovely eating drinking places nearby. Have a picnic breakfast in the grounds of the duomo right next door - perfect!

We were met by the owner (Fabio) who has an infectious enthusiasm for his stunning hotel which is well founded. Please do not forget the peaceful Garden as well.

Point one this IS quite literally next to the leaning tower approx 45 seconds walk, you can not get closer without being in it.
Point two if you are travelling by bus then the stop is 1 min walk away.
So in a nut shell you could not be more central if you tried.

The rooms are immaculate and well designed, there is no kitchen so there are reasonably priced vending machines discretely placed by reception. But please listen to the info given to you by the reception, as it is well informed and priceless. We were directed to well priced restaurants and bars just a few mins walk away, outside the normal tourist trap.

Can not recommend this hotel enough

My boyfriend and i spent two nights at Pisa Tower and can't think of a better place to stay. The location is perfect and the staff were so friendly and helpful with restaurant choices & our onward journey to Florence. The rooms were gorgeous & spacious and we got 2 great nights sleep. Highly reccomend!

The hotel is very conveniently situated within few minutes from the Leaing Tower. You can see it from the window. Event if this is a two star hotel I can tell you that it impressed me. It's a renovated hotel. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and clean. The style of the hotel is romantic. All the rooms have on the door the name of an important italian city. if you are lucky you can get a room with canopy. the hotel does not have an restaurant but it has an excellent interiour garden where you can relax.

Room Tip: Room overlooking to the Leaning Tower!

Stayed two nights in August, the rooms are very nice (recently refurbished) with good air conditioning. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. No breakfast, just a vending machine available, but there are plenty of options just outside the hotel.
The location is excellent, just outside the walls to the Duomo and the leaning tower of Pisa, 10-15 min walk to the main street with restaurants and nightlife. The bus to/from the airport and the central train station is right by the hotel, alternatively the Pisa Rossore train station is a 5-10 min walk.
