Best rate thru Venere. Flew into Pisa and picked up rental car. Got very lost trying to find hotel. Had to stop for directions twice. Parking was hard to find. Good hotel for one night. Clean, large room for 4 adults. Smelled bad, but fine after opening window for a while. Working air conditioning. Front desk clerk was a grouch. Continental breakfast was included.

We had a 2 night stopover after a 2 week visit to Tuscany. Hotel just a short walk from the station. Did not find any problems with the neighbourhood. Our room was very large with a king size bed and a twin, A/C, very clean (tiny shower), lots of towels and a hair dryer, extra pillows - all for 85 Euros per night. Breakfast was sufficient - lots of pre-packaged items - freshly made cappucinos!
Had a problem with the safe (and it is not bolted down - could pick it up) and the staff was less than helpful - finally did not use it as it locked (empty, thank goodness) and would not re-open. I would not call the staff rude but openly friendly, they were not - no big deal - still a very good place for the price. We had 2 wonderful meals at the Restaurant Centrale Pizzaria (great seafood spaghetti) on the Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, just a few blocks from the hotel.

Just stayed the one night after a week in the Cinque Terre as needed somewhere convenient before flying back home in the morning. Prebooked on line with Otel.com and paid £53 for a double with breakfast - seemed to be the cheapest available at the time. To find it, when you come out of the station turn immediately right and then take the first road on the left (C Colombo) - the hotel is a few metres along on the corner.

Basic, clean, compact and comfortable room with small shower cubicle in modern bathroom - did the job for a 'one nighter'. The receptionist gave us the remote for the air conditioning with the key. Found the receptionists a little grumpy, but helpful enough if you ask any questions. As the surrounding area is a bit 'dodgy' - asked the receptionist for a restaurant recommendation for dinner and he recommended Schiaccianoci (cross the road and you see it immediately). Looked at other restaurants in the area and they were very quiet which is a bad sign in Italy in the evening. You can't actually see into Schiaccianoci so we were pleasantly surprised to find it packed with Italians and families when we walked through the door. In fact, we had to wait 5 mins for a table. Had an excellent meal served by a very nice couple who run the place plus a complimentary Sambuca at the end. They also had an English version of the menu if you need it.

Breakfast the next morning was good with plenty of choice including fruit and yoghurt, croissants and pastries, bread rolls, cereals, juices, coffee and variety of teas and even little pots of pate and cream cheese etc. etc.

All in all, we think it was a good value stopover and would stay there again if we should ever return to Pisa for the night.

We're just back from overnight stay at the Terminus hotel... we decided to stay here as we had a very early morning flight back home from Pisa and were arriving by train from Cinque Terre and the hotel is near both the train station and airport. The hotel is fine for an overnight stay however it's really not somewhere I would like to stay for much longer!!

Our room was okay - it was very clean but small with a plasma TV. The bed was comfortable and there was a spacious and modern shower room. However the room was very, very warm and stuffy so we had to leave the window open all night as there didnt appear to be a remote for the air con unit! The towels were extremely weird - like dish cloths!!!!

The hotel has a dated feel about it but the staff were friendly and helpful. The area is quite far from the leaning tower but there is a bus stop round the corner which takes you straight there. We left too early for breakfast so couldn't comment on that but we ate in an excellent trattoria just round the corner so you don't have to travel into the main city centre area for good food. The airport was 5 minutes away by taxi so I would recommend this hotel for folk using it as a stopover rather than a holiday.
