“A good stay for a business trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2012

Nice hotel with clean rooms and reasonable service.

Connected well enough to be a good business hotel.

“Comfortable rooms - give the restaurant a miss.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 12, 2011

We stayed here for 1 night before an early flight at the end of October. The room was lovely, there were 3 of us and our little girl had her own space and bathroom (adjoining rooms rather than the usual fold up bed crammed into a double).
It was very clean too which is always a relief. Two negatives (not counting the restaurant) made me rate this hotel as a "poor" 1. It was freezing. They had this funny air conditionining that once switched on only lasted for about 3 mins before automatically switching off. This may mean it would do the same in the summer and therefore be roasting but that's only my assumption??? and 2. We booked an early call for 0345 which didn't arrive.
The restaurant: We ate there as it was convenient due to our late arrival but I'd give it a miss. It was more like service station food and the wine list was pretty rubbish too. The waitress didn't know what Cognac was neither and my husband had to go to the bar to point it out???

Room Tip: Make sure you set the alarm on your mobile if you've an early start & take a sandwich if you...

“city style hotel for convenient one night stay but beware dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2011 via mobile

city style 60s architecture. Not recommended for more than one night. Avoid rear facing rooms. if you haven,t been to prison you could experience cell life. Service very good. Airport access quite good.

“total crap, wouldn't go back for any reason”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2011

had to wait ages at the desk on arrival. the room was OK but had squashed mosquitoes around the walls. the toilet was leaking onto the floor in the bathroom. i went to reception to ask it to be fixed and was offered extra towels to mop it up myself ! I asked and was given another room were the shower dribbled out a few drips of water and the safe didn't work. very expensive for the poor quality of service

“Can't, won't, don't recommend this: Non può, non, non raccomanda questo”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2011

Booked our stay at Accademia in March 2011 as part of our hometrip from sightseeing in Pisa Town. We were to stay at B&B 1 night from the July the 16'th to the 17'th. Caught up in marvel at the Campo Dei Miracoli we called the receptionist several times in the late afternoon on the 16'th to assure our room wasn't let out. The receptionist assured us every time that the room was ours and we could check in as late as 9:30pm - everything would be fine. Unfortunately not true. When we arrived at 9pm same evening our room was was booked out to another family and we stood there with 2 children, forced to accept 2 doublerooms - instead of the, in March booked, familyroom.

Later we went downstairs to buy a meal to bring up to our room and was served by a polite young man. This didn't seem to be o.k. with the maitre d and the 2 were having a kind of argument - or so it looked like. This delayed the meal and finally after 45-50 mins. my 9 yr old son could get tagliatelle with pesto - a 10 min. dish.

On top of this 6 very noisy young american tourists sat in the hotel lobby, drinking beer and discussing very loud. Other guests were looking and walked quickly by them. Noone - not even the adult american (their teacher?) said anything to quiet the company.

I am sorry but I will never recommend this Hotel to anyone.
