Looks like some people had bad expereinces from this place but mine was positive

Flew into Pisa late at night and chose this hotel just for somewhere near airport, reasonable cost and somewhere to crash for the night

Reception were very helpful as we arrive at past 11pm and they checked us in (last chek in 10pm usuallly)

FREE Wi Fi which was great

We did pay the extra 4 euros or something for breakfast and very nice it was as well - help yourself continental

Room was good and bathroom decent. I will agree that beds were a bit hard, but all in all for us it served a purpose as a place to crash after a late flight. Would have no problems staying there again

There was an issue with the reservation we made where somehow we ended up with two rooms. We tried to book before we left and the website we were using crashed numerous times, so we called while we were there and got a room for 40 euros. When we got there, the previous reservation had been accepted and she had already taken payment but we argued for 10 minutes without any solution being discussed about the fact that we had two rooms and only needed one. She was very unhelpful, pretended she didn't understand what we were saying, and then demanded we pay a further 20 euros toward the second room. She swore she would show us the room the next morning to confirm she hadn't given it to anyone else but come the next morning she smiled, said "No, sorry" and wouldn't show us the room.
The double bed was two singles stuffed into a double bed frame, with the consistency of rock. And I'm not exaggerating, there was NO give in that mattress at all and I had a terrible nights sleep.
We couldn't get hot water to come through in the shower, and when we left for the evening, despite locking the room, our things had been moved around. Luckily we'd taken all our money and anything of value.
It was an hour walk to the centre, and a long walk to both the airport and the train station. She didn't offer any help with maps or directions so we simply had to walk and follow the signs. Luckily there is a little coffee shop 15 minutes down the road and the guy serving spoke perfect English and was really, really helpful.

Honestly - STAY AWAY from this place. Find somewhere closer, and you'll probably pay the same, if not less.

We were 3 adults and 3 children on a driving tour of Italy. We chose b&b d'annunzio because of the good reviews and because the location looked convenient for us with a car. Everything worked out fine - place easy to find, easy parking right in front, owner very friendly and helpful, nicely and uniquely decorated rooms, all immaculate, new and clean, nice tv with good music channels, large fridge, comfy beds, good shower. Kids and adults all happy...Drive into Pisa around 15 minutes, where it's easy to park in the car parks. Marina di Pisa only 10 mins drive for marble beach and big waves. Huge hypermarket Ipercoop only 15 mins drive where I got some great, cheap t-shirts

I reserved this room and needed to change the dates because of unforeseen circumstances and the service rep procrastinated for at least a week to change the dates and at the last minute while on vacation she cancelled my reservation and kept the pay. I had to find a new reservation with another hotel when i reached Pisa.
