A lovely hotel (...just not to five star quality all over)
Room, restaurant and reception are all top notch quality but go outside to the pool or walk around, then this is a 4* hotel anywhere else in Europe yet in Italy is fantastic compared to others!
Due to being to the north-west of town it felt just a little out the way of transport (...get your walking shoes on and hope the weather is good)
The view of the tower is good (especially from the roof at sunset) and fairly close by but local amenities are poor abait a supermarket 5 mins away
Not enough food options from a pricey yet lively restaurant.
Overall I would use the hotel again but would expect the management to learn that there are improvements to be made. The unheated pool, grounds and restaurant are a must and people would stay to enjoy their time in Pisa.
