I am just home from a week long stay in the Abitalia Tower hotel and was not disappointed. From being upgraded to an apartment on check-in to the professionalism and assistance of the all staff, there was little to complain about. Our rooms (livingroom/bedroom, further double bedroom/ walk in dressing room and bathroom), were well equipped and the two televisions provided ensured no conflict of interest between my teenage daughter and me! One slight gripe is that of a number of complimentary newspapers in the foyer, none was in the English language. A minor detail, but with the hotel not being close to shops or newsagents, a daily paper would have been great.
The walk to the tower and duomo might not have been too far for most people, but for anyone with limited mobility, a taxi was essential if you wanted to sightsee or even go to the bank. Maybe an ATM could be placed in the hotel?
