We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, the NH Grand Hotel Palazzo. At first we weren't sure what to make of it, feeling that maybe it was a locals only sort of place. But they were very friendly and sat us down near the back of the restaurant.
We weren't given a menu, rather the options for the evening, which was fine with us. The choice of wine is fantastic. Tell him how much you want to spend and he'll pull out a lovely Tuscan wine to suit you budget/choice. The meal was reasonably priced, full of locals and felt very authentic. Much better than staying in a hotel with no atmosphere. All in all I would recommend this place, it's not fancy, a bit rough round the edges but for charm and the real experience I would give it a go. Enjoy!
