“Excellent address for wine & good food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

We had a great lunch with some good wine in this small and cosy enoteca. They arranged for us to seat in the cellar as we were a big group. Recommended.

“Great Anniversary Dinner!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2014

My wife and I arranged for the "Dinner with An Owner" (see their website) for our 20th wedding anniversary via email. Once arranged, they requested any preferences and allergies as the menu changes based on availability of items, which we greatly appreciated. While the enoteca is small, the owner and chef's attention to detail is huge! We had 9 courses and tasted 16 different wines. Zeno, one of the owners, showed us an enormous amount of attention during our dinner, and explained everything to us, and took notes on all of the wines that we were able to taste. My wife is of Italian descent, and the pasta courses were as good as any of her family recipes. She even said later that she had dreamed about the cannelloni a day or two later. We had a great time, learned about wines we have never tried, and they sent us away (after a 3-1/2 hour dinner!) with a corkscrew and chocolates. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience!

Highly recommended if you appreciate wine, and learning about wines, from sparkling, white, and red. While you can merely have a glass or two of wine, and order food, we would also highly recommend the "Dinner with an Owner" for a special occasion meal. But be prepared - it is a lot of food, and a lot of wine. Wonderful!

“Best meal in Florence!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

After 9 days in Florence and Rome, this place takes the cake for best meal. The menu is small and changes (so it's hard to say what will be served), but the cod pasta was the best dish we had all week! The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and goes out of your way to give you a special experience. Prices are also very reasonable, about 100 euros for two (and we didn't hold back on wine).

“Gastronomic delight”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2013 via mobile

If you love wine and good food, you should not miss this gem in Florence. I can't wait to visit this wine bar again. The best wine pairing with the beautiful view of Pitti Palace.
