“First rate location and staff; quiet and spotlessly clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

We stayed 3 nights in a week containing 2 bank holidays, so crowds in Florence were heaving. Fiorino offers a quiet haven, literally 3 minutes from the Uffizi and less than 30 mintes walk to any key site or gallery. Quiet location, very helpful staff, decent breakfast. Price perhaps top end given the facilities, but we were there at peak season for Florence (it's too hot in summer). Just one minor point: nowhere to put clothes apart from a small though adequate hanging cupboard. Remember to book ahead for the Uffizi; despite the crowds we queued for just 20 minutes for the Pitti.

Room Tip: Room 119 has a nice space to sit outside.

The hotel is welcoming. It offers a central position and it's easy to walk into the city. The hotel is fairly basic but it's clean and tidy. The breakfast is great for the start of a busy day. Would stay again.

Hotel is located down a quiet side street just 2 minutes walk from the Uffizi gallery . Location couldnt be better for exploring Florence and seeing all of its attractions. More like a 2 star than a 3 star but we had no complaints. Room was a little small. Receptionists friendly and helpful and gave good suggestions for eating out. Breakfast was standard and nothing special.

This is what you are paying for here, otherwise I wouldn't say its 3 star accom, more like 2.Breakfast is sparse, rooms very basic, with hard beds and pillows.Bathroom small and basic.Men will find it pressing to fit into small shower, but water pressure good.We had only triple room in place. As far as location, well, there couldn't be better in Florence for the price, metres away from Palazzo Vecchio ,with numerous restaurants aswell.Extremely quiet.Lovely choice.

Room Tip: Location is the key here

(-) Bathroom - laugh at first sight. Approx. 15 mosquitos in the room. Smell that you won't forget. 130 euro. (+) Helpful lady in the "reception". Central location.
Overall, you will never forget this "hotel".

5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

We stayed 2 nights as a party of 3 at the Hotel Fiorino in Florence. Location location location! It is very close to the Uffizi Gallery, Piazza della Signoria, Bargello Museum, Ponte Vecchio and lots of other sights in Florence. It is on a tiny alley, so pretty quiet, but there are many restaurants nearby. We found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and well kept. The breakfast room was restocked often and coffee service very good. This is a very nicely kept property, not over the top, and a perfect match for us.

Room Tip: Be prepared to carry your own bags; there is no elevator.
