This hotel is way under ranked and the best place to stay. The owners and team are fantastic. They go out of their way to make you feel at home. The location couldn't be better with all sites less than 10 min walk from the secured entrance. The giovani frattori room is possibly the best room in the city. The restaurant recommendations kept us away from tourist traps and right into the freshest businesses in the city. I have and will again return to Alessandro and the hotel.
It's nice to see the owner take so much pride in the hotel.

While this may not be the cheapest B&B in Florence, the location beside the Gucci store, town square and the Duomo makes it a great place to spend your late evenings. The owner Alessandro was very helpful from the start (he gave me a travel book with his personal recommendations and made good coffee when i checked in). Upon realizing that I did not have the right power adaptor to charge my iPad, he loaned me one and also assisted my travel arrangements to my next city (he even checked to see if there are any planned strikes for the bus arrangements).
If you are staying here, make sure you aim to check in before 1pm (owner is available in the mornings) and make the bookings directly at their official website.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the back courtyard is quieter at night.

After walking from the train station finding our hotel was a very welcome sight! Alessandro is a fantastic manager with all kinds of suggestions for restaurants. Delightfully we booked the room with the Terrace that overlooks the streets- you're right in the middle of everything. Duomo to the right and Uffizzi to the left. This is one of the best pressured showers I have experienced in Europe- just magical. The room is spacious, pretty and comfortable but is right on a busy street so pack a good pair of ear plugs!

Florence it's already a city that speaks for itself, but the opportunity to stay in a place next to the Duomo (just in the corner of the piazza), with a great breakfast it's much better. Alessandro does everything in his power to help everyone (as he helped me and as I saw him help other guests). The room that I stayed (Diego Martelli) didn't had it any noise, as I read before booking - just the bells tolling. The town is safe, the Alessandro's tips are great and you just have to enjoy spend a nice time in the town. I definitely recommend and I definitely would come back too!

My husband and I stayed in the Vincenzo room at Il Salotto di Firenze for 3 nights in March, and we LOVED it. Alessandro was incredibly helpful with our booking and even helped us make restaurant reservations-- he made our stay in Florence really special. The location was ideal-- steps from the Duomo behind an impressively large front door, we felt like we were entering a castle! The room was very nice and had a beautiful bathroom. Cappuccino and pastries in the morning were just what we needed. Alessandro is a wonderfully accommodating and friendly host and the location is fantastic, we definitely recommend this B&B! If we're ever back in Florence, this is absolutely where I'd stay.

Excellent location, walking distance to every hot palces,1 nintues to the Dumo. Great host and professional services. Good room with relatively big bathroom. Best B&B in Florence!
