“Wonderful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2012

I was on a business trip and stayed two nights in January. I wish I could have stayed for two weeks. Beautiful house, wonderful room, comfortable bed, delicious breakfast. Elena is great. Peaceful location out of the center. The walk into town along Viale Galileo Galilei is one of the most beautiful in the world.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012

My husband and I stayed at this property in May 2011 for 3 nights. This was our first time in Florence, and we wanted a quiet retreat away from the madness of central Florence in the evenings.

Elena was very accommodating when I requested to change rooms due to an allergy to perfume products (which had been sprayed in our room prior to our arrival). We ended up in the triple room on the second floor. Overall the room, apart from a stain or two on the comforter, was well appointed and more importantly, clean! It was also huge, and could have easily accommodated a few extra people quite comfortably.

Breakfast was available each morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Elena also recommended a few restaurants (ask her about the nearby pizzeria run by a Sicilian family!) ,and a few scenic walks around the neighbourhood.

As some people have mentioned, the b&b is located outside the central hub, but that's what we were looking for (peace and quiet). It took us (2 twentysomethings) approximately 40- 45 minutes to walk to the Duomo.

Definitely recommended!

Anyone visiting Florence and wanting a relaxing stay must book into Fiorenza B&B! We stayed here last year and were so happy to hae booked again! The hospitality of Elena and her mum was still outstanding. The B&B itself is fantastic above all clean and comfortable. Breakfast is incredible with homemade cakes and fresh bread. There's even the possibility of using the kitchen in the evening if you want to order a pizza or just have a good cup of tea. We visited Florence in the spring and had the chance to sit outside in the garden after a long day visiting the museums and shopping! We would highly recommend Fiorenza B&B to all our friends and were so happy to "come home". Thanks Elena and Giovanna!

We stayed in Elena's beautiful B & B for 5 nights in late November and could not fault it. Our room was classically furnished with a good en-suite with a super hot shower. Elena really made sure we had everything we needed and her recommended restaurant was perfect way to spend an evening after a busy day - be sure to book!. The walk into the city centre was a welcome start to the day (especially after Elena's breakfast) and the bus home for tired legs after a day in the galleries brought us back to the end of the street. Elena is a charming host and this is without doubt the best B & B we have stayed in Italy.

My wife and I are in our early 60's, when we travel, we like to stay in nice places that don't cost an arm and a leg. Elena and Fiorenza was the perfect place for us, we stayed a total of 10 nights. Elena works very hard to make sure her guests are happy, she sure did for us! Nice location, great breakfasts, helpful suggestions, and 2 cute little boys made our stay very enjoyable. If you're looking for a B&b just out of town with a "homey " feel, look no farther than Fiorenza B&B. We even went out Trick or Treating with the neighborhood kids, wonderful!
Hope you all can make it!

Room Tip: Try to get a room with a bigger shower, the first shower we had was " a little tight"

What a delightful B and B. Beautifully decorated, tucked away from the noise of the city. Operated by one of the most caring, talented, professional proprietors in all Italy, Elena is incredibly attentive to every guest, and her breakfasts in the cozy, charming kitchen are truly memorable. The garden is the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine and talk about the day. It's a little off the beaten path, so there is a little extra walking, but it is really worth it.
In Florence, I would never stay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Both rooms we had were great.

We arrived on a Wed afternoon and Mrs. Giovanna was very kind and showed us around the B&B. Room for 3 was great and cleaned, kitchen available to make coffee and tea whenever we wanted, with a few snacks as well. She gave us indications on how to arrive to the city, whether by bus or on foot, and tips of good restaurants around the B&B. Nothing to add on the breakfast, all the comments on how good it is are all true!
