“Great hotel close to the center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

That hotel proved to be a pleasant surprise for us.
We had a great welcoming from a very polite gentleman in the reception. The room he gave us was really nice and clean, spacious and with all the amenities present.
The hotel also provides parking with a small fee.
Location is close to the center and you can walk your way easily to the cathedral and the other points of interest without having to use any trasportations.
All and all we were very happy with our choice and I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room Tip: Ask for a room top floor if possible

I would stay here again, for sure. 5 minutes away from the train station and city center-- you can't beat this! We had a triple room and it was very large. The bathroom was huge and there was a lot of space for our luggage. The breakfast was delicious! The location was a great jumping point for any sightseeing!

Comfortable walk to the city centre and even closer to the main station. Good sized bedroom with great bathroom and plenty of storage for clothes. Excellent Breakfast for buffet-style with plenty of choice. Reception staff were very helpful and on checking out allowed us to store bags for collection later.

Hotel is well placed near to the station and about 1--15 mins walk into the main areas of Florence. depending on traffic of cars and people! Staff were professional and helpful and breakfast was rather fine especially the coffee and juice.

The hotel beds are staggeringly hard so those used to a softer mattress will struggle and we just could not get the Air conditioning to work! Hi Fi worked in second room but not first

Its a 4 star hotel and that shows in the rooms but the new parts overlook busy roads with trams and they are noisy - we had t ask for a room in the old part.

The hotel lacks atmosphere and the bar as such is just too small so a gathering place it is not!

A place to sleep and eat it is, but it was a rather uninspiring hotel saved only by the kind staff

Room Tip: BE careful about rooms near to the road and the trams! Make sure the Wi Fi works and check the beds...

Arrived Monday afternoon in florence, hotel was 10 minute walk from the station. On arriving reception staff were welcoming and showed us straight to our room. The room was compact however this was due to having to large single beds pushed together. Room was clean although mirrors are too high for you to do your hair unless you stand up. Unfortunately there are no tea/ coffee making fascillities in the rooms although you can purchase them from the bar/ reception at a charge. Not great when you can't sleep and fancy a cup of tea at 3 in the morning. Altogether a great hotel, great location

Room Tip: Wi fi can be temperamental

Stayed here for 3 nights on a travel zoo offer. It's 5 minutes from the train station and about 10 into Florence. We had a room in the old part ,but it had updated bathroom with a great shower. The bed and pillows were very firm and the room was too hot for us.
There was plenty of choice for breakfast.
We flew into Florence and the bus departs from the airport on the hour and half past if there are 4 you get a taxi as it's 6 on the bus but 20 for the taxi plus 1 for each piece of luggage.

We stayed here for a long weekend. Flew into Pisa and transferred by coach to Florence. The transfer was so easy and provides great views of the countryside. The hotel is about a five minute walk from the bus depot/railway station. It is away from the heartland of Florence and you must pass the station which at night is home to some of the less fortunate souls. However this is no different to any other large city around Europe and we passed by many times and never once felt threatened. I only mention it because it exists and some folk may not be too comfortable with it!
The hotel staff are all extremely polite, helpful and professional. Our room (102) is on the ground floor and very close to the reception area. It was quite noisy right upto about 1 in the morning and we could hear every word by people returning from a night out. The air con was more a hindrance than a help. The lowest it would go to was 19c which meant the room was far too hot and completely airless to the point where we both ended up with sore throats! By night three I figured out how to "kill" it completely and opened a window. This was great until 6 in the morning when the room was enveloped in the worst smell imaginable. I am fairly sure that the sewer tanks were being emptied right beneath our window! So window closed, smell inside and aircon back on! Not pleasant at all. The room itself was clean and comfortable except for the pillow which was like placing your head on a lump of concrete. The bed is firm and benefits from having two single blankets over a double sheet. Never seen this before and a very good idea. The breakfast was plentiful and quite a good selection. Not sure that I would classify this as 4 star but certainly 3+ We would stay again but under no circumstances would we take a room on the ground floor.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the ground floor and 102 at all costs!
