Stayed here for three nights in the height of summer. The couple who operate this hotel are incredibly helpful and polite, they cannot do enough to help you. The property itself is immaculately maintained and very clean. The rooms are gorgeous, we had the suite room overlooking the street with a small bathroom attached which is above the laneway that runs down the side of the hotel. Our huge room was gorgeous with a beautiful chandelier and two chairs. I will note that there is no air cond and in the peak of summer with the temperature nudging 40 degrees Celsius, it made sleeping difficult but the fans provided did provide some comfort. I will note however that the bed was incredibly hard for our tastes to the point that we needed to buy some doona inserts from the local department store the following day to put over the mattress. Apart from that, our stay was really lovely and the location cannot be beaten.
